ReplyDeletealso, have you seen "becoming jane", the movie w/ anne hathaway as jane austen? it's all about what her life may have been like and what may have inspired/affected her writing.
I did see "Becoming Jane" but did not enjoy it due to certain parts that I felt did not stay within the moral character of the time. Some things I felt were too sexual and were not written well. I never watched it again. Sadly it is the only thing about Jane Austen that I do not plan on owning. If a few things in the script were different my opinion would be also. All I can say is "oh well."
